This is pathetic to get people to this site over a link that is not working. I will never come back. I draw over 1 million viewers to my blog and going to show exactly what you are doing. See the false link below that was published on 10/24/2009.. This is bogus and false… just like the publisher for this lame site.

Not sure what exactly you find pathetic, even if the link did go down after publishing it, clearly that would be something that was either a mistake or something to do with the external site, which unfortunately we have no control over. Our site has been around for a few years now and the entire point of our site is to share with our readers great deals, freebies, contests etc – so posting links where people can sign up for the offers is a part of the nature of our blog. Does this mean that occasionally stuff beyond our control such as a link to a deal, freebie etc going down happens – yes unfortunately (as I am sure you can relate to if your blog deals with external links ). Does this mean that we are ‘pathetic’ or trying to drive traffic to our site using fake links? No. As I’m sure you would have realized had you taken the time to explore our site this is not what we are about. However, I am still sorry you feel this is not a site you wish to continue to visit, as all of our readers are valued to us.
Anyway, that being said I just checked the link and it is working just fine for me. I tested it from both my laptop and my pc and it worked on both. If anyone else is having a problem with the link please let us know and we will happily update the blog posting. I personally don’t play on Pogo so don’t have any reason to sign up for this offer, so perhaps James is referring to an error in the sign up process rather than the link itself which seems to be working fine. If that is the case please also let us know and we will update the post (same goes for anything we post on this site – as mentioned we are dedicated to sharing great deals and freebies with members, and always appreciate feedback, good or bad!).

-I wasn’t asked for credit card info (although it does state they will)

- no advertisements (at least for the next 2 weeks!)

I just signed up – I never had an account with them before and they didn’t ask for credit card info .
Got this message after sign-up was complete
“Hi, googlez08!
You’re signed up and ready to play games on Pogo.com™. We’ve even given you 10,000 tokens to help you get started!”
but – once I got on the site I didn’t have the Club Pogo, just the regular one
would have to give credit card info and cancel within 2 weeks of playing to get it free.
It says “Credit/debit subscribers are not charged until after the 2 week free trial period.”

To activate your free 2 weeks you choose which membership option you would like then register or sign in. I got my 2 week trial and bonus tokens. Thanks for the post
could it possibly be a setting on the users computer that did not allow him to access the site? maybe you should check your user/bowsers setting before posting. The link works fine for me and appearently for others . sorry you had such troubles but thanks for the free advertisement! i’m sure if you posted this to your blog and get a lot of hits people will be curious and come check out this wonderful site.
