Great sale – they closed the La Senza Girl in our town though.

Just found out from La Senza Customer Service that all the La Senza Girl’s will be closed by January 30 – so have to hurry up and shop
La Senza Girl has not been around all too long. Surprised they are closing. Unfortunately I do not have one near me. Thanks anyhow
Well I just found the la senza girl store in kelowna and thought it had some great stuff but so disapointed if they are all closing down as my 9 year old loved the store and Please mum is too babyish and garage is to grown up teen and this was a perfect inbetween with awesome fashion
Just was at the mall and wondered why they had a 50% sale. My daughter loved that store so I went in. I looked at a shirt and remembered that my daughter wanted it last time. So I said what the hey just this one time because its near christmas. It was 34.50 origanally I went to the till and handed her 4 $10 bills without looking at the screen. She returned 37.50 dollars. I was like excuse me you made a mistake. She was like it’s a sale. I am like yes but 2.50 for a shirt? Are you serious? She nodded and said everything must go we are closing. And I started laughing and said I wonder what stuff you are gonna bring for the winter selection after xmas and she said we would be closed. And then I stared at her properly and said my daughter would freak! I went crazy shopping and paid only $64.50 for about 14-20 items! I knew it was a stupid thing to do but I knew my daughter would miss it and I took her as many memories as I could because I knew I would regret it if I didn’t.
Both myself and my 9 yr old daughter will miss the shopping trips to La Senza Girl. I found the clothes to be affordable, age appropriate and fit all body types. I don’t know where I’m going to shop for my daughter as she is too old for Please Mum and Children’s Place and too young for Garage and Le Chateau. I did what every Mom would do – shop like crazy and pick out outfits that would fit her now and next year. They were also giving away free hangers, so I grabbed about 20 hangers to be used to hang the clothes from La Senza Girl as a momento of her favourite store. Its all very sad and disappointing to all the pre-tweens and tweens.
I agree – it is definitely a favourite store!! And it was always busy and every girl between the ages of 7 and 14 LOVES that store! I can’t understand it…
I am a little disappointed that they are still selling the gift cards in the stores – that is very misleading. I was in there and nothing was said about closing and the rack of gift cards was full and waiting to be bought. My daughter got a couple for Christmas so I better get down there one more time! Sucks!!!
Is is just La Senza girls stores that are closing or is it all La Senza stores?
I believe it is just the La Senza girl stores.
It is just La Senza Girls that are closing. The Power Center stores that used to carry La Senza Girl clothing will still continue to carry girl Pjs, bras and undies. I have been an employee since one of the first La Senza Girls opened(they opened in 1999) and this last minute decision by the company has been very hard on some us and the customers this Christmas season.
